Bridge ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our Bridge app ("the App").
Information App Collects
1. Bluetooth Connection Data
To enable communication between your Wear OS watch and iPhone, we collect:
- Bluetooth device information
- Connection status
- Device identifiers
2. Notification Data
To sync notifications between your devices, we process:
- Notification content (text, title, app name)
- Notification metadata (time, category)
- App-specific notification settings
Note: Notification data is processed locally on your devices and is not stored on our servers.
3. Location Data
When you enable workout route tracking, we collect location data to track your workout routes. This includes:
- Latitude and longitude coordinates
- Altitude (when available)
- Location accuracy
- Speed (when available)
- Bearing/direction (when available)
- Timestamp for each location point
Note: Location data is only collected when workout route tracking is enabled in the app settings and you have granted location permissions. Location data is collected during workouts to create route maps that can be synced to Apple Health. This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

We use the collected information solely to:
- Establish and maintain the Bluetooth connection between your devices
- Deliver notifications from your iPhone to your Wear OS watch
- Track workout routes and create route maps when workout route tracking is enabled
- Sync workout route data to Apple Health on your iPhone
- Improve app performance and user experience
- Debug and resolve technical issues
Location data is used exclusively for workout route tracking and is only collected when this feature is enabled. The location data is used to create route visualizations and sync workout routes to Apple Health.

Bridge processes all data locally on your devices. We do not:
- Store your notification data on external servers
- Store your location data on external servers
- Share your data with third parties
- Use your data for advertising purposes (except in the free version, where minimal data is used to serve ads)
Location data is stored locally on your Wear OS watch and is only transmitted to your iPhone via Bluetooth for syncing to Apple Health. We do not have access to your location data, and it is never sent to our servers or shared with third parties.
For the free version with ads, we use privacy-focused ad delivery that minimizes data collection.

The App requires certain permissions to function:
- Bluetooth permissions: To connect your devices
- Notification access: To sync notifications
- Location permissions (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION, ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION): To track workout routes when workout route tracking is enabled. Location permissions are only requested when you enable this feature.
- Background service permission: To maintain the connection
These permissions are essential for core functionality and are used solely for their intended purposes. Location permissions are optional and only required if you choose to enable workout route tracking.

- Control which notifications are synced
- Enable or disable workout route tracking at any time
- Grant or revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings
- Disable the service at any time
- Request deletion of any locally stored data, including location data
You can disable location collection by turning off workout route tracking in the app settings or by revoking location permissions in your device settings. When location permissions are revoked or workout route tracking is disabled, no location data will be collected.
